Host Monster Review
Host Monster is part of the ring of hosts owned by Matt Heaton. These include Blu
eHost, FastDomain, and Just Host. Each of these hosts has its own set of features and pricing, but all three of these services charge extra for some. So, what makes Host Monster different from the others? Let’s take a closer look. Host Monster’s pricing structure is confusing. Some hosting plans include unlimited bandwidth, but others don’t.
The basic plan for Host Monster starts at $4.95 per month, which is very reasonable for a basic plan. Then
you can upgrade to a higher plan if you need more features. Generally, the first year of service is discounted, and there are two plans: Choice Plus and Choice. Both plans include unlimited space and bandwidth, and both come with a free domain name. Host Monster’s customer support is based in the U.S. and provides direct customer support.
The price for Host Monster is a little higher than the price of Bluehost, but their features are largely comparable. Unlimited bandwidth, databases, domains, and email accounts are included in their plans, and you get full shell access to your server. If you’re looking to build a simple blog or a small business website, Bluehost is a good option. The pricing for Bluehost and HostMonster is the same.
